坚持以科学创新、贡献社会为目标,先后主持和参与完成了60多项科研项目,典型技术贡献项目择选如下:
1995年,梁斌教授在Delft大学进行的锰系高温再生脱硫剂研究,在850℃下硫容达到17%,为当时欧洲最高水平;该脱硫剂制备和研究获得2008年国家自然科学基金委-宝钢钢铁联合基金资助,硫容以突破30%;
1999年,负责承担的攀枝花钛白生产过程酸解工艺强化项目,使该厂钛精矿酸解能力在不投资设备的情况下提高了50%;2000年-2005年,先后进行了液相酸解反应实验、废酸浓缩中试,2010年与鼎鑫钛业合作完成了稀酸酸解钛铁矿研究,将反应酸浓度降低到75%,为硫酸法钛白废酸利用建立了一条新的途径;该工作于2012年获得国家自然科学基金重点重点项目资助,获得四川省科技进步二等奖。
2000年,承担的四川维尼纶厂醋酸乙烯精馏塔优化项目,在2000到2001年的一年中便取得了380万元的经济效益,2004年在该厂实施的反应系统换热改造使该反应器的生产能力扩大20%;2007年,四川维尼纶厂轻烃回收装置改造,回收乙醛和VAC年创价值3000万元;该系列工作于2010年获得中石化集团科技进步二等奖;
2001年,承建的合江天丰化肥公司国内第一套50000t/a转鼓内返料熔融尿浆喷浆造粒大颗粒尿素装置顺利投产,于2006年在成都玖源化学股份公司(新都)建成了8万吨大颗粒生产装置,其投入产出比、产品性能及单位能耗方面都达到或超过了同期进口的挪威Hydro或日本东洋技术;
2004年,在石家庄化纤公司甲苯氧化反应器强化改造项目中,在意大利SNIA工艺基础上提高生产强度40%;对于甲苯空气氧化、环己烷氧化反应微反应器研究获得2项国家自然科学基金支持。
2006-2010年,主持甘肃金昌市化工产业规划和园区规划,对于园区建材-化工-采矿建设循环产业链的建设起到了重要作用,该园区已成为国家级循环经济产业园区;2008年主持完成了四川广安市化工与冶金园区产业规划,该园区2010年被批准为国家级工业园区。先后主持并完成了《四川宣汉县化工产业规划》、《四川宣汉县冶金电力产业规划》、《甘肃金昌市十一五化工产业规划》、《甘肃金昌市十二五化工产业规划》、《甘肃漳县化工产业规划》、《内蒙古阿右旗化工产业规划》等,积极推动了地方经济的发展。
1999年国内率先开展生物柴油制备研究工作,2006年,发表在国际杂志JCED上的Solubility of multicomponent systems in the biodiesel production by transesterification of Jatropha curcas L. Oil with Methanol,在2007年度JCED点击率排名第1,6年中被引用78次;2006年,发表在《化工进展》上的邀请综述文章“生物柴油的生产技术”,在2009年《化工进展》5年点击率总排名第1。2006-2009年,参与中国海油新能源投资公司海南6万吨/a生物柴油装置建设,该装置是世界第一套高温酯化法生产生物柴油工艺;2012年开始,连续5年担任AICHE年会生物质转化和林产品分会主席。
